All humanity (every nation and tribe) need the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, which is only possible through the acceptance of Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour. Salvation is the complete change of a person’s individual life and nature and relationship with God as a result of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation has to do with a change in the relationship between God and an individual, it also involves the personal renewal and complete change in the life of the person through the work of the Holy Spirit.

What Are We Saved from?
Salvation refers to our deliverance and redemption from the yoke of the devil and the curse of the law (the consequence of sin and death) and servitude of the old nature of sin (Gal.3v13; Rom.5v9; 1Thess.5v9).

Who Does the Saving?
There is no other name whereby anybody or any man is saved except in the name of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus Christ can save, he alone can remove sin and deliver us from sins, dominion and consequence (2Tim.1v9; Titus 3v5).

How Does God Save?
In the Christian doctrine of salvation or receiving Christ Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour, we need to realise that God has rescued us through the precious blood of Jesus, his only begotten son (Jn.3v16-17). It was Jesus’ death on the cross, his burial and resurrection that achieved our salvation (Rom.5v10; Eph.1v7).

How Do We Receive Salvation?
We are saved by faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, we must hear the gospel first- which is the good news of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection (Eph.1v13). Then we must believe- in other words, fully trust in the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom.1v16).
The bible declares if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, then we would be saved. It is a covenant and a promise between God and his children. Did you know that because of you, Jesus Christ went to the cross at Calvary and died that you and I might have eternal life? (2Cor.5v21). You can accept him as your Lord and personal Saviour now, you just say with your mouth and declare that he is your Lord. According to (Rom.10v9-11- NKJV:
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame).
Do you believe in your heart that he is your Lord?
If you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour today, we would love to celebrate with you. Please click HERE to receive some relevant information that will help you to grow up on your new journey.

When believers are baptized, they fulfil the commandment of Jesus (Matt.28v19-20), they are immersed in water to show and identify with the death and burial of Jesus Christ, and they rise out of water to identify with his resurrection from the dead.(Col.2v12; 2Cor.5v17; Romans 6v1-10)

Identifying with the death, burial and the resurrection of Jesus testifies to the fact that by faith, we believe that Jesus died and rose on the third day for our sins and now, he is alive and well and he is Lord over all of creation.

Who Should Be Baptized?
If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, we encourage you to follow Jesus command to be baptized by immersion in water as a public profession of your faith in Him.

If you are yet to decide to give your heart to Jesus, we encourage you to do so now. You just surrender your life to him, confess him as your Lord and Saviour and you will be saved (Rom.10v13: 3v23).
Once you have confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord, we invite you to be baptized in water by immersion to make a public confession of your faith. It is a declaration that old things have passed away and all things have become new (2Cor.5v17).

What to Expect?
It is of note that everyone that will be baptized will be asked some questions by the Church leaders in the pool before they are baptized or immersed inside the water.
You will be expected to answer basic questions such as:
‘Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God in the flesh?’
‘Do you believe that your sin separated you from God the father?’
Have you repented from your sin and accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour?’
Do you believe that Jesus died and rose triumphantly, conquering Satan, sin and death?’
And then:
A short prayer is said as an affirmation of faith
You are baptized by immersion in water
