HOW GRACE CAN ABOUND?

4. By growing in your Capacity to show Gratitude. A lifestyle of Gratitude is one of the pathways to multiplying grace. This is why you need to grow or develop your gratitude Quotient. It is interesting to know that the word grace and gratitude are from the same root meaning. Grateful person will live a Graceful life. A classic example is Apostle Paul. 2Cor4v15; Eph1v16; Col1v3. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus also demonstrated the power of gratitude in the Miracle of the loaves of bread and fishes. Matt14v19-20. So my dear friends, it’s time to grow your Capacity of Gratitude! Col2v6-7; 4v2. Are you willing to take this challenge?

5. By growing in your Capacity to stay Humble: Humility is also one of the surest pathways to grace and abounding grace. To enjoy grace be humble and to keep enjoying grace stay humble. Grace will elude a proud and arrogant fellow. Jam4v6, 10. Humility is a Great Promoter. Lk18v14: 14v11; Pro15v33. So if I were you I will remain humble regardless of where I am or what I have achieved!

So what does it mean to be Humble?

  • Less of yourself and more of Him. Jn3v30.
  • Not to be full of yourself or wise in your own eyes. Pro3v7.
  • Not to be cocky puffed up or arrogant.
  • To glory in God and not glory in yourself. 1Cor1v31.
  • To ascribe all the glory to God always.
