Ephesians 5v16: Redeeming the time because the days are evil.
I am sure everyone is interested in having a good or great day instead of having a bad day. This series of teachings is designed to help us in getting the best out of any day. Is it possible to get the best out of a Day? The answer is an emphatic YES. You can get the best out of your day if you start paying attention to how you live. A close look at our text scripture in (Eph.5v16) in some other translations gives us an idea that getting the best out of your day is possible and it’s part of God’s will for your life:
“Making the very most of the time (buying up each opportunity) because the days are evil- Amplified Version.
“These are evil times, so make every minute count- Contemporary English Version.
“Make good use of every opportunity you have because these are evil days- Good News Translation.
“Making good use of the time because the days are evil- Bible in Basic English.
“Make the most of every chance you get; these are desperate times”- Message.
My dearly beloved ones, so what does it mean to get the best out of your Day? To get the best out of your day can mean either of the following:
- To get more out of your day.
- To make the most out of your day.
- To maximize your day and the opportunities it brings.
- To use your day wisely or most productively.
- To use your day(s) profitably.
- To utilize effectively the opportunities that come your way.
- To convert to your advantage, the best use of your time.
- To have a fruitful or productive day.
These are just some of the meanings of the concept of getting the best out of your day. So my dear reader, what kind of result are you getting out of your day? It’s time to gain control of your day by gaining control of your time. As your heavenly father does not want you to waste your days or life (Ps.90v12). This is why you need to know how to get the best out of your days because every day counts and your life is a product of your days. Your life will never be a waste. You will fulfill your purpose and destiny in God as you begin to pay attention to your days.

There is a purpose for each day, and each day also brings along its opportunities and challenges. I am determined not to abuse my day but to use every day productively and to the best of my abilities.
