Experiencing His Marvelous Kindness 1

Psalms31 verse21 ‘Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.’

God is described by several attributes in scriptures and one of such attributes is his kindness. He is a God of unusual kindness and his heart desire is for us his children to know in reality this kindness of God. This was the testimony of David as we can see here in our text scripture (Psalm 31verse21) as he testified of his marvellous kindness. In the same vein God wants to show you his marvellous kindness. Ps117v2. So are you ready for this encounter? My dearly beloved ones, however in order to experience his marvellous kindness, it’s important to know what his marvellous kindness is all about?

So What Is His Marvelous Kindness?

-It’s God being unusually kind towards you. His marvellous kindness speaks of his great, wonderful and miraculous kindness. The is the kind of kindness that Daniel and Esther experienced in a strange land where they were taken captives. Est2v9. God’s marvellous kindness also talks about his uncommon or special mercy and favor.

-It is the Wonders of His Love i.e. His never failing love or wonderful love. This is the kind of Love he demonstrates towards his own, as he did in the case of Prophet Jeremiah (Jer31v3). It’s the same kind of love that he wants to shower you with also. For you to gain a clearer perspective on this truth, I want to share with you other translations of our text scripture:

-Praise the Lord! How wonderfully he showed his love for me when I was surrounded and attacked -Good News Translation

-Praise be to the Lord, for he showed me the wonders of his love, when I was in a city under siege – New International Version

-Praise the Lord, his Love to me was wonderful when my city was attacked – New Century Version

So what are the key points to take home from our text scripture?

1. His Marvellous Kindness will be your Defense and Refuge. Just as his marvellous kindness guaranteed the safety and protection of David despite the siege he was under. In the same vein God’s kindness will be your security and covering even in this season in Jesus name amen. If you are receiving this, can I hear a resounding amen? The same God that preserved Jeremiah during the invasion of Jerusalem will preserve you even in this season! Ps125v1.

2. His Marvelous Kindness will be your Comforter and Consolation. This simply means that you will be comforted by his marvellous kindness. Ps119v76. Just as his marvellous kindness was a comfort to Naomi and Ruth in Israel, this also be your story in this season in Jesus name amen. He will send your Ruth and Boaz to you as he did for Naomi and Ruth!

My dearly beloved, as you meditate and receive these truths may the experience of his marvellous kindness be a reality in your daily work and life.

Prayer For Today: Heavenly Father, thank you for showing me your marvelous kindness even in this season and times! By this I know that I will survive and succeed in this season in Jesus name amen.

CONFESSION: I am a recipient of his marvellous kindness. Therefore men and women will be unusually kind towards me. The situation and circumstances of life will also favor me because I am a partaker of his marvellous kindness! Glory be to his Holy name!
