Galatians 6verse9: ‘And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’
You are welcome back to our discussion on not being weary in our lives. Weariness is something that can come into our lives in a subtle way; this is why we need to be watchful and vigilant. However, in order for this admonition of not being weary to be effective in our lives. I would like to share with you some of the areas of our lives that we must not be weary! This is so important if you will win the warfare against weariness! So here we go!
AREAS NOT TO BE WEARY:
1. In your commitment: This also includes your commitment to God, his house, your work, marriage, vision, goals etc. This is an important part of your life that you must not allow weariness in any form or fashion. Why is this so critical? It’s important because anything that affects your commitment negatively will also affect your life in a negative way. So give no place to weariness in your commitment. Say this after me: ‘I will not become weary in my love for God, his house, his kingdom, my vision and dreams.’ Lk2v36-37; Deut6v4-5.
2. In your personal devotion to God. This has to do with your prayer, worship and word study life. My dear reader, never allow the fire to go down on the altar of your prayer, worship and word study life because this is also another important part of your life. So don’t become weary in your prayer, worship and word study life. Your devotion is your life source and you should not allow the enemy to cut you off your source. As much as possible stay in fellowship. Don’t allow any form of weariness or tiredness to come into this area of your life because the enemy is just trying to cut you off your source and supply line. So, my dear reader, say no to any form of weakness in these areas. Mk1v35; Lk18v1.
