Acts 1 v 8: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Dearly beloved, we are called to be living witnesses wherever we go or live. This is God’s mandate for you as you can see in (Acts 1v8). So, to what extent are you positively affecting others? To a great extent, you can make a positive impact! You are not too small, big, young, or old to make an impact and I have been sharing with you the means through which you can do this. Today by His grace, I will be sharing another key in affecting others for good.

How to affect people’s lives positively?

3. By helping and assisting people. This is one powerful means of touching lives in a positive manner. Who are you helping? You don’t need to be a Bill Gate or Dangote before you can help someone; just render the help that you can afford. This is all it takes and you can do this! Never forget this, every little help counts! I want you to know that it doesn’t cost so much to help and assist others. As great as Naaman, the Syrian general, was, it was his little maid that assisted him in getting his healing. In fact, he almost lost it if not for his servant who encouraged him to obey Elisha’s instruction (2Ki.5v3, 13). So, never for once think that you are not in a position to help anybody. My dear reader, you need to:

  • Help without expecting anything in return. Help people sincerely. Leave the rest to God for He is more than faithful to reward you.
  • Help the people you know (Gal.6v10).
  • Help those people who cannot help themselves (Mk.5v1-20).
  • Help those people who cannot repay you back.

My dear reader, have you made up your mind to be a sincere helper? As you choose to be a helper today, you will be making your heavenly father glad and you will not be put to shame in Jesus name, amen.
