You are welcome back to our discussion on great grace and I believe that you were blessed by what I shared with you in our last lesson. Today by his grace, we will be considering some vital truths that you need to understand about the concept of great grace. So without much ado, can we examine them right away. Lk24v45.
TRUTHS ABOUT THE GRACE OF GOD
Below are some of the truths you need to know about the grace of God:
1. Every believer have a measure of the grace of God. Grace is your heritage and portion as his child.1Pet4v10. My dear friends, this is one of the basic and fundamental truths you need to know about grace of God.
2. Grace is in various degrees and measures. We are not all on this same measure of grace but glory be to God the grace we operate in can grow or multiply. 2Cor9v14. Yes although grace differs from one person to another, but it’s possible to actually grow in the measure of grace. So no need to settle for less!
3. There are different types of grace(s). 1Pet5v10. Grace differs from one person to another person and from one place to another place. There is grace to teach, preach, heal, deliver, sing, build, plant, water, give etc. Rom2v6; 2Cor8v2. Yes, there are diversities of grace and this is part and parcel of God’s economy of grace.
4. Grace can increase or diminish. It just depends on what you do with it. It can either multiply, be static or diminish. 2Cor9v8; 2Tim2v1; 2Pet3v18; 2Sam3v1; 1Chro11v9. So in a nutshell the grace of God is never the same with everyone. Therefore the onus lies on you properly handling the grace of God.
5. You were called to the Grace filled Life. Since you were raised by grace, you ought to live by his grace. Eph2v8-9; 1Cor15v10. So to what extent is your life saturated and regulated by his grace? It is time to live a life in, by and through the grace of God. Nothing shut of a graceful life will make God happy. Gal2v20. This evidence is littered across the New Testament especially the epistles. For example: Rom1v7: 16v20, 24; 1Cor1v3: 16v23; 2Cor1v2: 13v14; Gal1v3: 6v18. I pray that the grace filled life will be a living reality in your life in Jesus name, amen.
Other Scriptural References: Acts 9v22; Rom5v20; 1Pet4v10; Eph3v7; 1Tim1v14; Eph1v2: 6v24; Philip1v2: 4v23; Col1v3: 4v18.
Prayer for Today: Lord, let your great grace begin to make all the difference in my life in Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: I chose to live the grace filled life. I embrace this dimension of life by faith from today. I live by and through the grace of God. My life is saturated and directed by his grace. This is my testimony and song from today in Jesus name, amen.
