Acts 4 verse 33: ‘And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.’

Our God is a God of all Grace (1Pet5v10) and his will for us is to abound in Grace. His grace can be multiplied and amplified in our lives. This is what we see in operation in Acts4 verse33. The grace of God was multiplied on the Apostles lives. They experienced great grace. In the same vein, God’s grace ought to grow and multiply in your life. Mega grace can also be your portion. So are you ready to experience grace on a mega level? I believe your answer is a definite yes, however before e start looking at how to experience great grace, let’s examine what great grace is all about.  Jn8v32; Ps119v44.

WHAT IS GREAT GRACE?

The word great grace is from two words: Great and Grace. And it’s interesting to know that the word great in Acts4v33 is the word “MEGAS” in the Greek Language (from where you get the word MEGA). So Great Grace implies the following;

I. Mega Grace i.e. Grace on a bigger, larger, higher, deeper, better, stronger and richer level. This simply means that you should expect to experience God’s grace like never before. This is what happened to the Early Church in Acts4v33 (Great grace was upon everyone). So in essence great grace means mega grace!

II. Mega Power. Another name for grace is power. This is evident in 2Cor12v9 where grace is equated to Power, Therefore Mega power talks about experiencing God’s power like you have never before. This is evident in the life of the Early Church (i.e. Acts5v12-26) In the same vein God’s power will come on you to accomplish your destiny and do greater works. Ps66v3. So my dear friends, great grace means Mega Power. So are you ready to experience his mega power like never before?

III. Mega Favor and Kindness. Another name for grace is Unmerited Favor or Undeserved Kindness of God. So God’s intention is to unleash his favor and Kindness on you like never before. Ps102v13. Favor like Mary and Esther experience it and much more. Acts2v47: 4v34.This is what the dimension of great grace is all about. May this be a living reality in your life.

IV. Mega Help. Another name of grace is the help and assistance of God. Therefore great grace means Mega help and assistance of God. 1Cor15v10. So the intention of God is to greatly help you like you have never known his help before. 2Chro26v15. This is what the dimension of great grace is all about and you will be a pataker of this grace in Jesus name, amen.

My dear friends, this is where I will be drawing the curtain on today’s lesson, see you tomorrow for the continuation of this series.
