Jn.2v1-11: On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine”. Jesus said to her, “woman, what does your concern have to do with me? My hour has not yet come”. His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it”. Now there were set there six water pots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “fill the water pots with water”. And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “draw some out now and take it to the master of the feast”. And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, “every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now”. The beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested His glory; and His disciples, and they did not stay there many days.

Our God is a Miracle Working God; this is why he is the God of Miracles. He is still very much in the business of doing miracles and he will surely visit you (Ps.77v14). Miracles days are not over, as we can see in (Jn.2v1-11) how he turned water into wine. This is absolutely a miracle, for it is beyond natural comprehension or thinking. It’s beyond the natural. It does not make sense, but it provokes signs; this is what a miracle represents and what happened in (Jn.2v2-11). God wants to work miracles in your life but you have a part to play. So what do we need to do in order to experience miracles?

EXPERIENCING HIS MIRACLES:

  1. You need to work in cooperation with God. One common way God does Miracles is by partnering with him (Amos 3v3). How can you do this? You can partner with God when you are:
  • Be willing to do whatever he says to do. This is how a miracle happens. The disciples were willing to obey the instruction of Jesus in (Jn.2v5); that’s why a miracle took place. Are you ready to do whatever God asks you to do? You will see from the scriptures that miracles always abound whenever people take God’s instructions seriously. For instance:
    – The man with an infirmity for 38 years (Jn.5v6-8).
    – The man born blind (Jn.9v6-7).
    – The widow of one of the sons of the Prophets (2Ki.4v1-7)

My dear reader, are you ready to follow these examples to encounter the God of Miracles?

  • Be willing to go wherever he asks you to go. This is another pathway to miracles in a man’s life. Miracles accomplish those who follow his instructions. For example, Elijah and the Ravens (1Ki.17v2-8) and Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath (1Ki.17v9-16). You, too, will begin to experience the God of miracles when you don’t joke with where he asks you to go.
  • Be willing to believe his instructions to you. God’s instructions sometimes seem foolish and ridiculous, but this is the pathway to the miraculous. At times, my dear reader, what he says to you may not make sense, but it will surely produce signs if you are foolish enough to believe and act on it. This is what happened to Elizabeth in (Lk.1v45). She was foolish enough to believe the words of God, which ultimately resulted in a Miracle for her. A miracle is on your way, too but are you willing to believe his instructions to you? God’s ways are higher and better than Man’s way, so if I were you, I would go with God instead of following man’s way.

So, my dear reader, it’s time to put your believing power to the test. Are you ready to believe his word to you? Doing this will usher you into the dimension of the Miraculous. I see this becoming the order of the Day for you in Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer for Today: Father God, I acknowledge and recognize you as the Miracle Working God. Do once again your Miraculous work in my life in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: I believe in the God of Miracles. Miracles days are not over. Therefore, I am set for a Miracle in my life and endeavors. Miracles are coming my way and I will not be put to shame. Miracles abound to me as I walk in cooperation and partnership with God. My miracle will not elude me for I am his obedient child. Glory be to his name; my season of miracles is here!
