1 Corinthians 9verse24-26: ‘V24- Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. V25- And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. V26- I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air.’
You were designed by God to win in the race of life. This is God’s will and plan for you as a believer but are you really winning in life? I have discovered that if you will really win in life, you need to run in a particular way. This is what I have been sharing with you in this series, so today by his grace, I will proceed with more details of how you are to run.
How To Run:
3. Run in order to win or obtain the prize. Let your motivation for running be to win and not to lose. So run with your eyes on your goals and aspirations. Run with your eyes on the prize. Be absolutely focused on where you are going. Philip3v14. Avoid distractions as much as possible. Don’t allow the enemy of your soul to get you off balance or off course. Keep your eyes on where you are going. Stay on course and as you do so, you will win big in life. Luk9v62. So my dear friends, to what extent are you running towards your goals and targets?
4. Run to Finish the Race. This is another way you ought to run if you will win in the race of life. Don’t just start, endeavor to finish! Don’t be a quitter; run to finish whatever you started or embarked on. Quitters never win and winners never quit. So, never quit. Hold on and stay true to your vision and dreams! Run with the mindset of finishing that assignment, task, mandate, project, program, or course. Finish well and also finish strongly. If you make this your motto and mantra, you will be a winner in whatever you do. So, my dear friends, why not embrace this spirit? Eccl7v8.

Prayer for Today: In the name of Jesus, I say no to everything that seeks to prevent me from running the way I should run. In Jesus name, amen.
CONFESSION: As I run by the rules of running, I see myself winning big! As I cooperate with his spirit and word, I am coming out on top! I am prevailing and triumphing by his grace! Hallelujah!
