The Importance of Prayer 5

1Thessalonians 5verse17 ‘Pray without ceasing.’

You are welcome back to our discussion on the subject of prayer! I do believe that you are getting renewed and empowered in your prayer life! I wholeheartedly believe that things won’t remain the way it is in your prayer life! We have been looking at the importance of prayer. And today I will like to proceed further by sharing with you some other reasons why prayer is so crucial to your life. So, without much ado, let’s examine these truths right now.
WHY PRAYER IS IMPORTANT?

4. Because prayer is a means of accessing God’s grace and mercy. What I simply mean by this is that prayer grants you access into his presence. It allows you to come to the throne room of God, where you can have intimacy and also get help in time of need. Heb4v16. I believe that you know that we all need the grace and mercy of God in abundance and prayer is one of avenues of securing this. So my dear reader, this is why you cannot afford to joke with the subject of prayer because you cannot do without the grace and mercy of Jehovah. Pro16v11.

5. Because prayer is a means of overcoming Satan and his cohorts. Prayer is, in actual fact, one of the weapons of your warfare. So if you are keen on defeating Satan and his cohorts, you must take your prayer life seriously. Precious child of God, I want you to know that you can’t defeat Satan without prayer. You need prayers to survive, succeed, and have significance in this world. 2Cor10v3-5

6. Because prayer is a means of giving birth to your Destiny. You carry the seeds of greatness but carrying it is not enough. You need to deliver it. And the way to doing this is through prayers. I hope you can now see why you can’t be lazy with your prayer life. My dear friends, it is as you travail in the place of prayers that you give birth to the things that you are pregnant with. Isa66v8; Gal4v19
It’s time for you to give birth to those prophecies, dreams and visions of your heart. Your hour of manifestation is here! So get into the birth position. Get into the place of prayer! I see you entering into your promise land of destiny in Jesus name, amen.
