Psalm 86verse6-7 ‘V6-Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. V7-In the day of my trouble I will upon thee: for though wilt answer me.’
We all need revival in our lives; this is why this series of messages is coming your way today. We need personal revival and by personal revival, I mean intimate or private revival. It’s actually your own revival or revival in an area of your life. So, which area of your life are you in need of a revival? I believe that God will visit you especially in those areas; in Jesus name, amen. God is committed to reviving his people. This is why the Psalmist in our text scripture (Ps85v6-7) was confident enough to ask God for revival. So you can expect God to visit you in the areas of your need also. But why do we need revival in our personal lives? We need revival because:
1. Things are not going the way they ought to go. Are you experiencing stagnation, lukewarmness, decadence, Loss of passion or fire in your life? Then it’s time for you to experience his visitation and I pray that his revival will not elude you in Jesus name, amen. Rev2v4: Gal5v7
2. Things have remained the same in your life. God is a God of progress and development, so if things are not changing in your life for the better, then you definitely need a revival. Therefore, I decree from today that God will visit you in the areas you need most in Jesus’s name, amen. Your moment of transformation is here! If you believe this say, a Big AMEN. Ps84v7: Hos14v7
3. Of Cooperate Revival. Personal revival often precedes cooperate revival. The truth of the matter is that you can’t revive others if you are not revived yourself. It’s only the revived that can revive others. So this is why we need personal revival in our lives so that God can revive our families, nation and the world at large. Acts2v18
