How To Have An Amazing Year 7

2Chro.27v6: So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

Wow! It’s been an intensive and Interesting series of teaching we have had on how to have an Amazing Year. I believe that your life won’t be the same again and this year will yield its dividends unto you. Your efforts won’t be in vain. As you work these timeless principles, you will indeed have an Amazing Year in Jesus name, amen. My focus in today’s lesson is to share with you the seventh principle that you need to employ in having a Wonderful Year. I believe this principle will change your life for the better, so let’s examine it right away.

CONDITIONS FOR HAVING AN AMAZING YEAR:

7. Become a More Valuable Person. Yes, becoming a more valuable person will greatly help you succeed in the new Year because when you become more valuable, your life and work will become more valuable. So the key question to ask yourself is how valuable are you to your family, organization, or even our world? My dear reader, make up your mind to grow your value and worth this year. And there is no limit to how far you want to grow once you are committed to the process. Make up your mind to become the kind of person that will be in great demand and greatly sought after this year. This was the secret of Daniel and Joseph in their captivity (Dan.6v3; Gen.41v38-39).

So how can you increase your value?

– Work harder on yourself. This is how you become a more valuable person. Learn how to work harder on yourself than even your job because you will be able to do excellent work when you do so. Working harder on yourself will make you a fortune while working hard on your job will make you a living. A Fortune is better than a living. So your main question should be, what am I becoming?  Because what you are at the moment is based on the person you have become and what you will be in the future is based on what you are becoming. So what are you becoming? (Lk.1v80)

– Add value right where you are now. Do whatsoever is committed into your Hands with excellence and diligence. Upgrade your level of skillfulness because the more highly skilled you are, the more valuable you become. So one of the questions that should be on your mind this year is how you can add more value where you are right now? As you give thought to this question, God will flood your mind with ideas and innovations in Jesus name, amen (Ps.33v3).

– Develop your gifts and talents to the best of your abilities. There is no doubt that you have potential, but you need to harness and release that potential in order for you to fulfill your colourful destiny. So make up your mind to develop your gifts and talents so that people will come running on empty to come and meet you because of a particular expertise that you have (Pro.15v6).

My dear reader, I believe you can see that success is not something you pursue or run after but something you attract by the person you have become. Success is something you attract by becoming a more attractive person yourself. I pray for you today that as you increase your value this year, your life will be more fulfilling and rewarding in Jesus name, amen.

CONFESSION: I will develop my potential to the best of my ability this year. I will not allow people or circumstances to limit me. I know there is more in God. I know I can be more and better, so I refuse to settle for less. As I grow my value, my net worth is changing for the better. I am becoming an attractive person; therefore, I attract every good thing of life. I will not lack anything good because as I become a more valuable person, things are changing for the better for me. Glory be to his holy name. This year will be a more fruitful and rewarding one for me in Jesus name, amen.
