Eccle.10v19: A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry; but money answers everything.

You are welcome back to our discussion on the subject of financial freedom! As you can see from our text scripture in (Ecclesiastes 10 verse 19), money is a major determinant in being able to do certain things in life and you surely need money in your life. This is why you need to work towards financial Freedom. Financial freedom is being able to meet all of your financial needs and also be a blessing unto others. God does not want you to serve Money instead he wants money to serve you. I have been sharing with you some powerful principles that can bring you to the place of financial freedom and today by his grace I will be sharing another important key in achieving Financial freedom. So without much ado, l like us to examine this principle right away.

ACHIEVING FINANCIAL FREEDOM:

4. Increase your Market Value. This is an important key in achieving Financial freedom. This principle has to do with your personal development. It entails you improving yourself. Stop waiting for your company to do it. Just keep getting better. What determines the money you get is not how long you work but how well work. In fact, the harder you work, the more tired you get, but the more value you create the richer you become. So what kind of value are you adding? You need to ensure that your market value is rising i.e.in this way you will be able to attain financial Freedom. One very certain way of increasing your market value is by increasing the level of your skills. What do I mean by this? It means to raise your skills level. Skills are abilities that you acquire. The more highly skilled you get, the greater your chances of making money. Highly skilled people have greater chance of getting money (Ps.78v72). So my dear reader, what kind of skills do you possess? It’s time to improve your level of skilfulness. So how can you raise your skills level? You can do so by:

– Doing your work in a manner that’s difficult to replace you. This is how to raise your market value. So start focusing on how you can become more relevant in your work place. As you do this, you will discover that money won’t be issue any more (Dan.6v3-4).

– Add value to work. Money flows where value is being created. So are you a contributor or just a Consumer? Are you a blessing or a Burden? (Pro.31v10).

– Do more than what’s expected of you. When you live like this, you will not lack opportunities of getting money. Don’t just be a common worker. Be an extraordinary worker

– Do an uncommon work. Do your work like no other person? Doing a common thing in an uncommon way brings success. This is how to increase your Market value. As you focus on this, you will discover that greater avenues of making money is coming your way (Pro.22v29)

– Go back to School. Update yourself. Stay in touch with the changing times and trends. Being current is the currency of life. Nobody is too old to learn and the biggest room in the world is the room of self-development. Knowledge is the fertilizer that makes your money tree blossom and Earning is rooted in learning. So it’s time to get Wisdom and Understanding (Pro.4v5, 7). This singular act will improve your capacity to get money. It can cause money to come your way.

My dear brothers and sisters, are you ready to increase your Market value by increasing your skills level? I believe your answer is a definite Yes. I pray for you today that as you take this initiative, money will no longer be an issue in your life.
